The Man in the Suit Chapter 1 In 1945 a tank drove through a mysterious liquid near an ancient temple. After World War Two, they recycled broken parts from ruined tanks, not knowing what was in the rubber tracks of one of the tanks. It was then made into a rubber suit for the movie Gojira in 1954 for Toho Studio. The person in the Gojira suit was unknown at the time. But the story the actor has with Gojira is odd. The suit was a greenish black and was 2 meters tall and looked like a tyrannosaurus rex with stegosaurus fins on its back. The man was a little chubby and mainly wore light brown suspenders and a white t-shit. He was Japanese, like the setting of this story. Everything happened in Japan. He got the acting job of being and wearing the Gojira suit. And the actor fell in love with it. "He would wear the suit most of the time to the point that you never saw his actual face." - A Toho Producer "Even when we take breaks, he would just wear the suit. The suit would sometimes heat up, but he didn't care." - Actor On Set "It was like he was addicted to the suit. Like if it was calling his name." - A Toho Producer "It has gotten to the point where he brings the suit home even though we tell him not to." - Co Director "He wouldn't really speak a lot, but he would say that his name is 'Goji'. Basically the nickname we gave to the suit." - Actor On Set The last time he was seen on set, he was acting in the suit until he just stopped. He was hunched over, his head dangling, and acting very weird. He looked like he was about to fall over. Several minutes later, he would start to walk and stop yet again. His breathing was muffled, yet he was also breathing oddly. The director thought this was a joke, poking at him to get back in place. But he wouldn't budge. After two odd minutes of oddly breathing, The director would tell people to check on him and make sure he takes off the suit. He was not moving and breathing even more odd than before. Then a staff member looked inside the suit. The man opened the costume to see that he was growing into the suit. His flesh would slowly rip away as he tried to open the pocket where actors would enter the suit. Somehow his body was deformed to the point he was filling the inside of the suit. They expected him to be fully alive and well, but they found a monster. A monster that was human. The suit was now his skin. Chapter 2 *TV clicks on* "Not one but two," An advertiser says. "Of the most terrifying creatures ever let lose on man! Each a raging, unkillable horror!" The advertiser continues. "Both on a rampage to stun your every sense! Gojira, and Angurius! Born to destroy each other! But first they'll destroy the world!" *TV clicks off* The Man in the Suit still came along for the next movie. If they stopped and told anyone about The Man in the Suit, Toho would've been sued and ridiculed for keeping such a disgusting creation. So they decided to keep him out of the public eye so they could bank off the success of 'Gojira.' Toho wanted to find out the ultimate cause for all of this. The Man in the suit was examined by private doctors. The doctors weren't really sure about the cause, saying, "It might be a pill" and "He may have melted into it," but they weren't certain. What they were certain about was the outcome. Whatever he took or had made his skin and flesh inflate in the inner suit, melting and fusing together. Somehow the outside of the suit was now his skin. His bones were rearranged inside to match with the height of the suit. He can somehow feel the outer layer of the suit. As if it was his own skin. It turned out that he could see out of the eye sockets of the suit, but his eyes were bloodshot. His eyes were bloodshot. His eyes were bloodshot... Chapter 3 The name for the actor who plays Angurius is ################. People on set noticed how he was odded out by The Man in the Suit. No one cared to tell him what happened and what he has become. The Man in the Suit was very cooperative. Even after losing his vocal cords, he could still make noises. Like one of an animal. Everything would go great until the last scene where they would have to fight. The Man in the Suit chomped on the actor's head, making him bleed badly. This was never part of the script. The actor yelled painfully for help as the teeth clamped onto his head. Seconds later, the actor would stop moving. The Man in the Suit would protect the unconscious actor as he roared at anyone who came close. The actor would awaken, shaking violently as he struggled to get up from the ground. The crew on set helped him up. Fearing the worst, they tried to take the suit off. It wouldn't budge. Chapter 4 *TV clicks on* "It's catastrophic!" An advertiser says. "The titanic terrifying battle between the mightiest monsters of all time!" The advertiser continues. "King Kong versus Gojira!" *TV clicks off* With The Man in the Suit being the only Gojira suit at the time, they used him for the next film. With King Kong being an American film, The Man in the Suit wasn't having it. This is where I come in. I was put into the job of being the cameraman. They told me what happened before and told me to stay quiet about it or I would be arrested. But the truth needs to come out somehow. The Man in the Suit wasn't happy making a movie with the Americans. The Toho Producer's forced him to look more appealing to a younger audience. He wasn't happy with how this all played out. He had a very bad disliking towards the actor in the King Kong suit, Shoichi Hirose. He either thought Shoichi Hirose was a traitor for portraying an American monster or saw something in him. We knew that he wasn't a big fan of Americans. He would roar at them, and try to attack them. We treated him like a lion at the zoo. We had to film one more scene. I was instructed to not stop filming. The script after destroying the big building was, he would act to use his atomic breath ray on him. It did not go as planned. Chapter 5 The Man in the Suit would push Shoichi Hirose off of a cliff, and I had to record it all. There was water below the scene so the actors didn't get hurt. There was a struggle in the water, splashing, as one of them frantically tried to get out of the other's grasp. Only one of them rose from the water. Gojira. I was sick to my stomach, not wanting to know what he had done to Shoichi Hirose. I got my other camera and ran. I tried to leave the long corridors of Toho Studio, wanting to take a quick breath of fresh air from what I just witnessed, but I heard screams from the other room I had left. Then the worst happened, the power went out. I used the flash of my camera trying to look around, frantically trying to find an exit. I heard someone walking towards me. I thought it was an employee. I accidentally took a photo wanting to find an exit, quick. But what I captured wasn't an employee. It was The Man in the Suit. His eyes were glowing, like little fireflies. His mouth was open in a hungry, drooling row of teeth. Not coming for the other employees. Not running because of the power outage. Not anything else. Just me. Chapter 6 He lunged out of the rolling shadows towards me. I ran until I got out of the building. I was startled by the first encounter of The Man in the Suit. I was as curious as ever. I know they told me not to speak of him. But I need answers. So I've gone to one of my friends, who was smart with this stuff. Her name was Elisa. I called her, but she was in the middle of teaching her class. She would still call me because of how curious she was. She'd never seen anything like this. I recorded part of the call. "The thing is, however this was caused, it wasn't from a pill. This is something else." Elisa said determined to find the answer. "Oh, god." She said concerned. "This was the work of radiation! Holy, holy crap! The Man in the Suit doesn't fuse with the suit instantly, his body explodes in the suit then reshapes itself in the suit!" She said like this was a life or death situation. "I don't know how to explain this. Imagine a cream filled donut, without the cream it is mostly a flat donut. That was the suit before, but because of the filling, the man, it basically filled the space. But this is different. The cream and donut are separate entities. There is a barrier so they don't mix. The Man in the Suit however, his skin, his flesh, his bones, it's fusing with the suit. His teeth would be the suit's. It's mutating him! It's making him more like a creature than a human. Soon he will have animalistic properties. Like using it's teeth more effectively. And would be able to control his tail. You need to kill him. If not, then it will be too late for man kind." She explained. Chapter 7 I asked what he would look like when he was fully mutated. She said there is no stopping point for the mutation. She then told me to go to an artist and tell them to draw a description that I forgot. I told them to make the art, and they did. My Japanese was a bit rusty because I thought I asked for one drawing but I got three. It was three drawings of The Man in the Suit if we let the evolution continue. It would be giant. Big claws, drooling mouth, sharp spikes on it's back. It was horrifying. I snuck around the Toho Building a day after the encounter with The Man in the Suit. I found a tape labeled, "####" I realized this was a few years after The Angurius Incident. I will just play it. *TV clicks on* The Toho logo shows up on screen with weird distorted music playing in the background. A Japanese voice then interrupted the noise. It then goes black and cuts to a video. A Japanese voice plays in the background. The video shows The Man in the Suit in the Toho Studio at night. Then a beeping noise can be heard along with the Japanese voice. Then a low voice starts saying gibberish. Then a loud roar echoes out in the studio. Then the video cuts out. Then an alarm can be heard along with The Man in the Suit missing from its position. Then the alarm stops. Peaceful music replaces the alarm. The Man in the Suit then can be seen approaching the camera. The music stops. The tape ends. *TV clicks off* Chapter 8 I was mailed a tape in the next 4 years. I don't think someone at Toho Studios made this. *TV clicks on* The Gojira movie plays while the Japanese words "You do not understand" appear on the screen. Then the words "You killed my family" appear on the screen. Then "You Americans cheered when we lost" shows up. "We lost our homes" it says. "We lost our families. You nuked us. The nuke took my wife. The nuke took my kids. Hiroshima was our home. You took everything from me. So I decided to return peace. By getting rid of the people who wronged us." *TV clicks off* Chapter 9 I had to decide what to do, leave the country and hide, or fight this beast. I chose to fight. I packed a 12 gauge shotgun in my bookbag. I brought extra ammo just in case. I drove to the studio, ready to kill. I remembered what they had done to him after the King Kong Incident with Shoichi Hirose. They put him in a cell when he was around when they were not acting. They did not want him to hurt any one else. I opened the door to the studio, it had a small ceiling in the lobby but a big ceiling in the studio. He was in a cell. I went over and pulled out my shotgun. The producer saw me pull it out and thought I was coming back for revenge after I got fired. He lunged towards me and knocked the gun out of my grasp as I pulled the trigger. The bullets shot the lock on the cage and then The Man in the Suit smiled and opened his mouth ready to kill, ready for revenge, not just revenge, but a massacre. Chapter 10 I reached for the rifle, but The Man in the Suit knocked it away! He ran after the actors and staff while I ran to leave, but I was too late, The Man in the Suit's enemy, Angurius, had blocked the door and destroyed the lobby leaving a pile of rubble blocking the long corridor! This was what it felt like to live with dinosaurs! Giant beings that kill everyone and everything in their path. But The Man in the Suit didn't want that. He wanted to leave, to kill every American! Angurius was the dino-like one. I noticed, the Japanese left, the Americans were the only ones in the studio. But I was the only one alive in the studio! I was alive with 2 creatures that have never been studied and want to kill me! How much longer do I have to live! Chapter 11 I glanced out of a vent in the ceiling over the large studio. I noticed that The Man in the Suit had gotten bigger, almost 3 meters bigger! he was now 30 ft tall! He was doing a ritual. He spoke some Japanese saying "Come down my servant! Come down Mothra! Come down my warrior! Come down Gihdorah!" He was chanting it like the world depended on it. Then two monsters slammed through the roof of Toho Studio! A 3 headed dragon that stood beside The Man in the Suit. He had no wings, just long thin arms. The Man in the Suit kept calling it Gihdorah. The a giant moth flew into the hole that Gihdorah had made. The Man in the Suit kept calling it Mothra. The hole was low enough that I could climb out of. I immediately took that chance and climbed out of the ruined studio. People were outside of the studio eying the 4 beasts that resided in the building. I ran to an airport to leave. I got on a plane and we left off. But then I heard screaming and I turned around to see Mothra flying beside of our plane! Chapter 12 I had planed for this. I grabbed a bunch of soft items, like clothes, bags, etc. and started to open the door to the plane. I jumped out! I landed in the ocean, not far away from the coast. I took a 9mm out of my pocket and shot at Mothra! He moaned and then eyed me! He swooped down towards me and grabbed me! I wiggled out of its grasp and fell onto the top of the plane! I climbed in and took over the piolet seat. I was a piolet once, so I flew away from Mothra. Mothra knocked the plane with its head! I got back into control! He then split the plane! I jumped and prepared for impact! We hit the water, the seemingly peaceful water. I swam up and back to shore to see The Man in the Suit was now as tall as a skyscraper! He was fighting Angurius! He swung a punch at The Man in the Suit he countered it by throwing him into a propane plant! Angurius's rubber skin burned until there was only flesh and bone. The Man in the Suit ran after the shores and swam at Mach 1 towards the USA! Chapter 13 Once I made It to shore, Gihdorah swam with The Man in the Suit (for now we will call him Gojira), while Mothra flew with them. I saw the destruction that had been caused by such beasts. Buildings ruined, roads smushed into the earth, fire everywhere. I immediately booked a flight to New York City. When I got there, New York Was crashed! Buildings toppled, cars beeping, and most of all a roar! Gojira was fighting Mothra! The monsters fought viciously! Mothra fell into a tower, burying me in ruble! It went silent. Too silent. Only muffled roars and screams could be heard outside of my accidental prison. I wasn't going to last much longer! How, when, where will I get out! Chapter 14 When I woke up, I didn't hear anything. Just fire crackling. I climbed out of a crevasse and walked around the street. No monsters. No people. Gihdorah's dead body was spread out in Times Square. How can I stop him? That evil Man in the Suit will kill every American! Just revenge. Just a great big plan of revenge. The man that entered the suit lived in Tokyo. This wasn't just a mad man getting revenge for his family, it was a mutated beast ready to fight for its country! Chapter 15 I noticed, I could rewind time! There was this ancient staff in a museum that could put you back in time. I walked to the museum. It is still intact! I ripped the staff from it's location and dialed the time of the day when the bad stuff started happening. I was sucked into a portal, tumbling in numbers and clocks, dodging clock hands as they pass by. It looked like something out of a sci-fi movie like Star Trek. I was flying at such a high speed that stuff started to slow down and warp! I then slumped down onto my bed, alive. No screaming. No roars. Just Tokyo. Now, I have some unfinished business to attend to. Chapter 16 I went outside and got some fresh air. The mail man put some mail in my mailbox. I went to go grab it. It was a tad bit oily from the mail man's sweaty old fingers. It was from Toho. It didn't look fancy, nor professional. It looked sloppy. No one at Toho ever mailed me a package, even though the mailing address was from there. Also, I was fired. Why would anyone want to send anything to an employee that was fired? It had a tape called, 'Dorsal Extraction.' I had hired a spy also after I got back from time traveling. Are they taking the spine out of The Man in the Suit!? There is only one way to find out. *TV clicks on* A weird distorted ticking noise plays while the Toho logo comes into view over a white background. The Japanese words, "We will try and get him out of the suit" appears on the screen. Next, the Japanese words, "We are unsure if this is going to work" appears on the screen. The ticking noise turns to a hum and then a black screen appears. Then you can see The Man in the Suit in complete darkness, standing there. A scientist comes up to The Man in the Suit hesitantly. He turns on a saw and starts cutting The Man in the Suit. Then the tape turns to a black screen. The Japanese words, "He was very cooperative" appear on the screen. Then it says, "We thought it would hurt him, but it didn't." Then the Japanese words, "The Results are fantastic" appear. Then the cuts back to the video. You can see The Man in the Suit laying there. Then the scientist raises the saw and turns it off. The video cuts to a black screen once again. Then it turns off. *TV clicks off* The spy told me that after two minutes of this being filmed, The Man in the Suit attacked the cameraman. According to the spy, the flash from the camera hurt his eyes. The person took photos while they ran. The first photo shows The Man in the Suit's foot as he is running after the camera man. The next photo shows a blurry image of The Man in the Suit's head. Another photo shows his tail. The next photo show a very disturbing photo of The Man in the Suit's head. Dark eyes, shadowed mouth. Then the spy gave me the tape I wanted to see. Chapter 17 I wanted to know what happened to The Man in the Angurius Suit. *TV clicks on" The Toho logo appears over a white background. The Japanese words, "We have tried our best to comply with the other person mutated in suit." appears. "But his persistence hurts our finances. People want to see him, but he doesn't want to be seen." *TV clicks off* I was confused at first. This was all? Then he started to explain. He explained that the next movie was supposed to be, 'Gojira Vs. Angurius.' They have tried their best wanting to comply with Angurius, like if they were training a dog to do tricks. My spy snapped a photo of them trying to comply with Angurius. He was surrounded by dozens of men in suits, his mouth wide open, angry, as if he was going to attack like a wild animal. They said they were going to use force on him. Using tasers and such. The spy said that there was also a new movie in the works. Something about Gojira battling a giant moth. Mothra. Chapter 18 I have tried to get out of this situation and just leave Japan, but if I tried, I'd probably be arrested. I went too far into this rabbit hole, too far to the point I can't get out. This seemed like my life now. It just keeps getting worse. Somewhere in the making of the new movie, The Man in the Suit somehow escaped. How do I know this? It was on the news. Here is the article: "Monstrous Movie Monster Sighting! Sightings and witnesses have seen a creature that resembles a lanky and tall Gojira! Last night, a couple started to travel home as the husband took some photos. The husband was a photographer and thought taking a picture of the road would be an inspiration to his next photo piece. One of the photos captured a big lizard monster standing on two legs, like a tyrannosaurus in the middle of the road! Around later that night, a boy would see a silhouette of this beast and stormed out of his house with a camera trying to take a photo of his favorite movie monster. He took 2 photos of it next to a street light. Then 1 photo of it standing in the neighborhood street. We tried to interview the kid, but his parents wouldn't let us." Toho got wind of this fast, explaining that this was a promotion for their new movie. Somehow they were able to stop anymore copies of this story from printing again. I have too many questions. What was he even doing outside? How did he escape? Did Toho get him back? Chapter 19 *TV clicks on* The trailer for Gojira vs. Mothra plays. *TV click off* The spy I hired had told me what happened during the time The Man in the Suit had escaped. He said something went wrong. He said this had happened because of the conditions The Man in the Suit was in. He was lathered with some paste that made him look different and a bit shiny. He had to wear a glossy type of contact so they could hide his bloodshot eyes. He was forced to withstand high wind. He was dragged around. He was treated like a circus animal. During production, instead of The Man in the Suit fighting another man in a monster suit, it would be replaced by a puppet. The Man in the Suit saw Mothra. He thought someone was inside because of how lifelike it acted. Toho thought this was a very smart tactic, until they realized they had a problem. Chapter 20 Someone needed to be in one of the larvae suits. One female actor agreed to be in one of the shots being inside the larvae suits. It was her first day on the job, and invited her parents to see her act. Her parents didn't care about what character she was in the movie. They were happy that she got to be on the big screen. Sadly, the amount of security isn't going to help her out of the trap she put herself in. In one of the scenes they were filming, The Man in the Suit snapped, going after the Mothra puppet and biting onto it. After realizing that it was a puppet, It went after the larvae suit. The Man in the Suit charged forward toward her. The larvae suit had plenty of room for her to duck down, but that wouldn't stop Gojira from charging deeper. While her was getting bitten, her parents had to watch everything. They tried to intervene. Chapter 21 They were both mauled to death by The Man in the Suit. After mauling them, The Man in the Suit tried to protect the larvae suit. But the production crew were ready. With tasers, they stunned him away from the larvae suit. In a fit of rage, he barged through security and escaped. There was a team quickly dispatched to catch The Man in the Suit. Four men were tasked to get the lady out of the suit. The spy was in the team to get The Man in the Suit. It took an hour to find him. They saw him looking around in the forest, as if he was just wandering around and looking at nature. As if he was calm. The calmness broke as it saw the people trying to capture it. The Man in the Suit was surrounded. Then it would start to shake violently. It vomited a red boiling liquid, presumably his own blood. It was probably a last resort the creature had, but somehow they had took hold of the beast and took it back. The spy took a picture of what was left. It showed a hole burnt into the ground, with the boiling blood steaming and filing the hole. They left quickly to go put The Man in the Suit into a secure place. They feared the worst coming back. They opened the larvae suit. They expected an injured lady to crawl out of it. What they found was the lady had merged with the suit. Chapter 22 Enough is enough. Too many lives ruined, too many problems going on. I know what Gojira is planning. I have to intervene. This time, I won't let him out. I will get in there myself. I packed my shotgun, once again. I traveled from my home to Toho Studios, the root of the problem. I went in the lobby then went to the cage. He stared at me very angrily. I snuck past the actors and hid behind a curtain. I waited till 6 o'clock to leave the curtain, since the staff left at 5:30. I snuck into the cage where The Man in the Suit was being held. Little did I know, there wasn't only me and Gojira in the cage. Chapter 23 The Larvae jumped on me! I shot it 3 times, which alerted the others. Angurius sped towards me I tripped it with my boot and shot it in the back of the head! Its head exploded! Then the real boss came in, The Man in the Suit! He bit my arm, leaving a deep gash on me! I ran in pain down the long corridors of the studio. I passed a flashlight which I took and started using. I heard loud thumps behind me. I jumped behind a corner and put a cloth on my arm. Two heads appeared at both sides of the wall I was hiding behind! It was Gidorah and The Larvae! I shot both of them at the same time because I also brought a revolver. The revolver shot The Larvae killing it once and for all! The shotgun shot however, shot off only one of Gidorah's three heads! I scrammed. I ran for a little bit, then reloaded. I could hear roars echoing through the halls! I got up and stood in a 15 foot decor tower for the movies. The beasts neared! I made sure everything was ready and opened fire on them both! The revolver bullet hit Gojira's chest! Blood spurted out but quickly stopped. The blood burned through the concrete floor! The shotgun shot off another one of Gidorah's heads! I shot more! I killed Gidorah, but I only shot The Man in the Suit's arm. He started to throw up blood all over the studio! Then he slammed into my tower! I fell and my gun dropped into the acid blood! Well only my shotgun. The Gojira used his Atomic Breath on my revolver! He also set my hand on fire with his atomic breath! I dipped my hand in a cup of water, then I ran. I stopped at a dead end. I was done for! Then I remembered that the flash from a camera hurts him. I picked up a nearby camera and pressed the photo button, a lot! He tumbled backwards and covered his eyes while he roared and screamed! He fell into a hole of his boiling blood acid! He sprayed one last beam of Atomic Breath at the ceiling. He was now just bones and rotting flesh in a pool of acid, slowly decaying. But his atomic breath set the building on fire! I ran to the entrance as fast as I could! A burning wooden beam blocked the entrance of the studio! I ran to a corner, bloodied and tired, but most of all happy. I slowly became unconscious because of the smoke. Chapter 24 I woke up in an ambulance. The whole studio burnt down, along with the dark secrets and history that almost got leaked to the public. I am the only one to tell the story. I now live happily in the U.S.A with my wife and dog. My kids have grown up and are living good lives. That dark story still haunts me until this day. I hope you now understand the story behind The Man in the Suit.
